Miami Men's Track Advances To College Final

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The University of Miami 4×100-meter relayfinished third in its heat with a time of 41.30 to advance to Saturday’smen’s college final at the 106th Penn Relays Carnival in Philadelphia, PA.

The Hurricane relay, which qualified 17th out of 85 teams, consistsof four members of the UM football team including junior wide receiverSantana Moss, sophomore wide receiver Daryl Jones, freshman running backClinton Portis and freshman wide receiver Andre Johnson.

Joining Miami in the men’s college final beginning Saturday at 1 p.m.will be North Carolina A&T, Ohio State, Texas, North Carolina Central,Nebraska and South Carolina State.
