MOSER WINS DECATHLON

TALLAHASSE, FL – The University of Miami’s Aaron Moser rallied from a third-place start, after the first day of competition, to win the decathlon, with 7,016 total points, at the Florida State Relays in Tallahassee.

After one day of competition, Moser was in third-place, with 3,656 points, behind Darius Jones of Florida State (3,850 pts.) and Kenny Edwards of Northern Iowa (3,840 pts.). Moser overcame his 194-point deficit, with a strong effort on the second day to gain the first-place finish.

The University of Miami men’s and women’s track teams return to action on Saturday, March 18 at the Cobb Stadium for Track & Field on the Coral Gables Campus. The field events start at 9 a.m., while the track events begin at noon. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
