Jacari Riggins joined the University of Miami as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in June 2024. She oversees the strength and conditioning efforts for the Womenâs Rowing and Womenâs Swimming programs, and serves as the primary assistant for the Track and Field program.
Riggins continues her tenure with the Hurricanes, having previously served as both an S&C intern and S&C assistant at Miami. In those roles, she managed S&C for the Spirit Squad and Womenâs Rowing programs, and assisted with Volleyball, Track and Field, Menâs Tennis, and Womenâs Soccer.
During her time at Miami, Riggins also spent four months with the United States Ski and Snowboard Team in Park City, Utah. There, she oversaw the S&C and sport science efforts for the Aerials, Moguls, Alpine, and Freeski teams.
Before her work at Miami, Riggins gained experience as a strength and conditioning intern in the private sector at Athletic Lab in Morrisville, NC.
A native of Miami, Fla., Riggins earned her bachelorâs degree from William Peace University and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Applied Physiology program at the University of Miami.
Riggins holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
