Volleyball Moves FIU Match to October 9th
Coral Gables, Fla. – (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miamivolleyball team will not participate in the FIU Tournament originally scheduledfor September 14-15th due to the national tragedy that occurred in New York andWashington D.C. on Tuesday.
Miami was slated to play IUPUI at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon and again at 7 p.m.against host-school FIU. The matches against Valparaiso and Boston College onSaturday were also canceled.
Miami and FIU agreed to move their match to October 9th at 7 p.m.
The Hurricanes are still scheduled to play at Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton onTuesday, September 18th at 7 p.m.
