Samuel Hitchcock began his full-time role with the Miami Hurricanes Athletics Production Services department in August of 2022. Hitchcock is responsible for setting up for broadcasts and assists in the broadcast either as the director, technical director, assistant director, or replay operator for both linear and digital broadcasts.
Prior to joining the Production Services department in a full-time capacity, Hitchcock served as a student broadcast assistant from 2018-2022. He also served as a football video manager. In this capacity, he shot all games and practices for the Miami Hurricanes.
Hitchcock earned is undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Miami in 2022.
