John Battle

John Battle joined the Miami Hurricanes as an Account Executive in April of 2022. Battle is responsible for generating new business through the selling of season, individual, and group ticket packages. Battle also spearheads Hurricanes Ticket Office initiatives with all South Florida Youth Football Leagues, orchestrating special outings such as Miami Xtreme Day.

Prior to joining the Hurricanes, Battle spent time in the NFL, playing for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers. During his time in the NFL, Battle did an externship with the NFLPA, working with companies such as Fanatics and Panini on licensing and merchandising, as well as assisting on projects for the NFL Combine and Draft.

Before entering the NFL, Battle was a three-year starting safety and team captain for the Louisiana State University Fighting Tigers. Battle graduated from LSU with his Bachelors in Sports Administration.
