Allison Ross joined the University of Miami in August 2023 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer with track and field/cross country. Prior to coming to Miami, Ross worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with track and field/cross country at the University of Louisville for two years.
A 2019 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Ross earned a master’s degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Pitt in 2021. At Pitt, she spent two years in track and field/cross country as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. She also provided interim coverage with football, men’s and women’s basketball, swimming and diving, and gymnastics while with the Panthers.
A native of York, Pa., Ross is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and USA Track and Field. She is a licensed Athletic Trainer in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Florida. She holds certifications in Functional Dry Needling levels one and two, Foundations of Joint Manipulation, and Mulligan Manual Therapy Concept for the lower quarter.
