2023 Outdoor: Finished second as part of the 4×400 relay team with 3:36.28 at the Hurricane Invitational (3/18)…placed third and registered a new personal best in the 400m with 54.56 at the Hurricane Invitational…earned the first first-place finish of her collegiate career with the 4×400 relay team with 3:37.46 at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational (3/25)…placed second in the 800m with 2:08.78 at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational (4/8)…placed sixth in the 800m against strong competition at the 63rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays (4/15)…placed first with the 4×400 relay team at the UNF East Coast Relays (4/29) with a time of 3:35.42…registered a new personal best in the 800m her first ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships (5/13) with a time of 2:06.34, good for eleventh.
2023 Indoor: Began her collegiate career with a second-place finish with the 4×400 relay team with a time of 3:33.51 at the Louisville Cardinal Classic (1/14)…placed fourth at the same meet with 55.46 in the 400m…finished third as part of the 4×400 team with 3:35.84 at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open (1/20)…earned a personal best of 1:21.21 in the 600-yard dash at the Red Raider Open….finished eleventh as part of the DMR team with 11:30.42 at her first ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships (2/25)

Personal: Daughter to Daphne Grissom and Marquis Grissom. Younger sister to Tiana, Marquis Jr., D’Monte, and Micah Grissom. Gabriella’s father, Marquis, is a retired MLB player while her brother, Marquis Jr., is a current MLB player for the Washington Nationals. In her free time, Gabriella enjoys tumbling and swimming…currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

- Ran the third fastest outdoor 800m in school history with 2:04.06 at the Pepsi Florida Relays, then claimed the bronze with the 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:30.23
