2021 Outdoor: Won both the men’s discus and shot put at the Hurricane Invitational with marks of 56.07m and 16.94m, respectively. His discus mark ranks as the third-best mark in program history in his first outdoor collegiate meet…Finished fourth in the discus at Tom Jones memorial with a mark of 55.66m and finished eighth in the shot put with a mark of 17.12m… Recorded a mark of 54.58m in the discus at the UNF Invite… Finished 12th in the shot put at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a PB mark of 17.22m and 11th in the discus with mark of 52.65m… Competed at the NCAA East Prelims with a mark of 54.20m in the discus.
2021 Indoor: Began the season with a fifth-place finish in the men’s shot put with a mark of 15.47m and an eighth-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 17.50m at the Red Raider Invitational… Finished ninth at the Bob Pollock Invitational in the shot put with a mark of 16.43m and 12th in the weight throw at 16.06m.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19.
2020 Indoor: Debuted for the Canes registering a mark of 16.47m in the men’s weight at the Wolverine Invitational, which ranked fifth in Miami history and finished fourth in the shot put with his mark of 16.07m… Competed in both the shot put and the weight throw at the Vanderbilt Invitational, recording marks of 15.84m and 16.77m, respectively… Boasted two personal best at the Texas Tech Invitational with his throw in the shot put at 16.43m and the weight at 17.95m… Recorded marks in the shot put at 14.22m and the weight throw at 17.45m at the Tiger Paw Invitational… Competed in the men’s weight throw at the ACC Indoor Championships and finished with a mark of 15.87m in the shot put. Holds both the No. 5 marks in both the shot put and weight throw in Miami history.
High School: Competed in track and field, football and basketball all four years in high school… Was a 3x DVAL-DAL League Champion, a CCCA All-American in 2018, North Coast Section Champion in 2017, a 2x USATF All-American (2016 & 2017), and a CIF High School All-American in 2017. In 2017, Williams post California’s 15th-best throw in discus (2-5’7) and the No. 1 mark in Northern California with the same mark… No. 1 NCS All-Time Performer in 2017 and the Stanford Invitational High School Division Champion… Followed with the Stanford Invitational Open Division title in 2019 and a third-place finish in Arcadia Invitational with a Top 10 All-Time Meet Participant award.
