2021 Outdoor: Began the outdoor season winning the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.85 seconds and helped the 4×400 relay run a first-place time of 3:09.51 at the Hurricane Invitational…Continued to improve his 400m hurdles time at 50.85 seconds and helped the 4×400 run the fifth-fastest time in program history (3:08.52) at the Florida Relays… Ran a personal-best time in the open 400 at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational with a time of 47.24… Finished fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.81 and helped the Canes finish sixth in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:07.04… Claimed the program record in the 400m hurdles at the UNF Invitational with his time of 50.25 seconds… Won the gold medal in the 400m hurdles at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a time of 50.88 seconds and helped the 4×400 relay finish second with a time of 3:06.94…. Advanced to the NCAA East Prelims in the 400m hurdles and finished with a time of 53.76 seconds and ran in the dark when the lights turned off during the relay as the Canes finished 19th at 3:10.96.
2021 Indoor: Did not compete due to exhausted eligibility.
2020 Outdoor: Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020 Indoor: Finished second in the 600m at the Wolverine Invitational with a time of 1:19.95, which ranked second in UM history… Recorded a personal-best time in the men’s 400m at 47.68 seconds and finished fourth in the field of 46 at the Vanderbilt Invitational and helped the men’s 4×400 win the relay with a time of 3:12.39… Ran a program-record time of 1:18.91 in the 600m at the Texas Tech Invitational and helped the men’s 4×400 relay team run the second-fastest time in program history with a time of 3:09.83… Ran a 48:53 400m dash at the ACC Indoor Championships.
2019 Outdoor: Helped the Canes win the 4×400 relay at the Hurricane Invitational with a time of 3:09.69… Finished third in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge, recording a time of 52.23 seconds… Finished third in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Florida Relays with a time of 51.20 seconds… Helped the Canes finish second in the men’s 4x400m relay with a time of 3:06.75 at the Alumni Invitational.
2019 Indoor: Combined to run the program’s second best time in the 4x400m in 3:10.83 at the Texas Tech Classic… Competed in the men’s 800m and ran a 1:56.27 at the Tiger Paw Invite… Was part of the men’s 4x400m relay team that earned a silver medal, running a time of 3:12.04 at the ACC Indoor Championships.
2018 Outdoor: Was a member of the 4x400m relay team that finished third at the Hurricane Invitational with a time of 3:15.18… Won the men’s 400m hurdles at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge with a personal-best and Miami’s third-best time with a 51.52 seconds finish and recorded a time of 3:11.74 in the 4×400 relay… Finished ninth in the men’s 400m hurdles with a time of 52.24 seconds at the Florida Relays… Was third in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Hurricane Alumni Meet with a time of 48.34 seconds… Was part of the quartet that ran a season-best time of 3:10.16 in the 4x400m relay at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational… Won Heat 3 of the National Relay Championships and finished sixth overall in the men’s 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 51.40 seconds that ranks third in UM history and finished eighth overall in the 4×100 with a combined season-best time of 40.44… Finished fourth in the men’s 4x100m relay with a season-best time of 40.07 seconds for the fifth best time in UM history at the 2018 ACC Outdoor Championship and took home the bronze medal in the men’s 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 50.79 seconds… Finished 17thoverall in the quarterfinals of the men’s 400m hurdles with a time of 51.43 seconds.
2018 Indoor: Finished 10th in the 500m at the UAB Blazer Invitational with a time of 1:04.96…Member of 4x400m relay team that finished fifth at UAB Blazer Invitational with a time of 3:16.38…Member of 4x400m relay team that finished sixth at the Power 5 Invitational with a time of 3:13.07…contributed to a 4×400 m relay team that finished third in section 2 and fifth overall at the ACC Indoor Championships with a season-best time of 3:11.35, that ranks third all-time in UM history.
2017 Outdoor: Member of the men’s 4x400m relay team that placed fourth at the Hurricane Invitational… Finished fourth in the men’s 400m hurdles with a time of 52.97 seconds and member of the men’s 4x400m relay team that finished second and combined to run a season best time of 3:10.49 at the Hurricane Invitational… Excelled in the men’s college 400m hurdles, finishing eighth at the Florida Relays with a personal-best time of 51.76 seconds that ranks third all-time in UM history… Member of the men’s college 4x400m relay team that combined for a season-best time of 3:08.89 at the Florida Relays that ranks fifth all-time in UM history…
2017 Indoor: Brown just missed reaching the finals of the 60m hurdles, placing ninth with a time of 8.32 seconds and finished seventh with a time of 1:05.11 in the 500m at the VT Invitational… Finished fourth in the men’s 4×400 relay team at the Virginia tech Invitational with a time of 3:15.26… Competed in the 60m hurdles at the McCravy Memorial Invitational… Member of the men’s 4x400m relay team that finished eighth at the McCravy Memorial Invitational with a time of 3:12.16 that ranks third in UM history… Member of the men’s 4x400m relay team at the Meyo Invitational that won section 2 and placed fourth overall with a time of 3:12.47… Member of the men’s 4x400m relay team that placed seventh at the Tiger Paw Invitational with a season-best time of 3:12.10 that ranks third in UM history… Competed in the 60m HH at the ACC Championships… Member of the men’s 4x400m relay team that combined to finish eighth at the ACC Championships with a time of 3:12.70 that ties for fifth in UM history…
Brown is a decorated hurdler, heading to college after winning five state titles over his final two years of high school track and field. A standout at American Heritage in Plantation, Fla., Brown was the Florida Class 2A state champion in the 110m and 300m hurdles, as well as the 4x400m relay, while helping win the 2016 Class 2A team title. Also a state champion as a junior in North Carolina, Brown finished seventh in the 400m hurdles at the 2016 New Balance Nationals with a personal-best time of 52.81 seconds.
