2021 Outdoor: Improved her mark on Miami’s all-time top five list at No. 3 in the women’s shot put with a mark of 16.37m at the Hurricane Invitational…Competed in the women’s discus and finished 11th with a mark of 48.99m at the Florida Relays and recorded a fifth-place finish in the hammer with a mark of 58.93m and a sixth-place finish in the shot put at 15.80m…. Finished first with a mark of 53.85m in the discus at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational… Finished seventh in the hammer throw with a season-best mark of 60.43m and 10th in the shot put at 15.17m at Tom Jones Memorial… Recorded a season-best mark of 55.33m in the women’s discus to finish fourth and finished with the top collegiate mark of 59.40m in the hammer throw at the UNF Invite… Began the ACC Outdoor Championships with an eighth-place finish in the hammer throw (59.49m), fifth in the shot put (16.32m) and won the silver medal in the discus throw with a program record and personal-best mark of 58.42m… Competed in both the hammer and shot put, registering a personal-best mark of 61.99m in the hammer, which ranks as the second-best mark in program history and ended her day with a mark of 15.92m in the shot at the NCAA East Prelims.

2021 Indoor: Began the indoor season in the weight throw finishing fourth with a mark of 18.02m and also finished fourth in the shot put with her mark of 15.17m at the Red Raider Invitational…Competed in the shot put invite at the Bob Pollock Invitational, finishing eighth with a mark of 14.48m and finished third in the weight throw with her mark of 18.89m…Recorded two personal bests at the Tiger Paw Invite, first in the shot put with a fifth-place finish at 15.61m and winning the weight throw with a mark of 20.80m, which currently ranks as the 16th-best mark in the NCAA.

2020 Indoor: Began the indoor season winning the women’s weight throw at the Wolverine Invitational with a then-personal best mark of 20.97m, which ranks fifth in Miami history and meet record… Finished fifth in the weight throw at the Vanderbilt Invitational with a 20.14m mark… Returned to competition with a second-place finish in the weight at Texas Tech with a mark of 19.62m and a 14.24m mark in the shot put… Won the weight throw at the Tiger Paw Invite with a personal-best mark of 21.13m, improving her fifth-best mark in program history… Won her first ACC title in the women’s weight throw with a personal best and ACC Indoor Championship record mark of 22.55m, which ranks as Miami’s program record and qualified her for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships with the fourth-best mark in the nation… Recorded a lifetime best throw in the women’s shot put of 16.80m to win the shot put title at the ACC Indoor Championships… Garnered the ACC Field MVP Award.
2019 Outdoor: Competed at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge in the women’s shot put, finishing fourth with a mark of 15.16m, fifth in the discus with a mark of 49.58m and eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 54.86m… Competed in the women’s shot put at the Florida Relays and recorded a mark of 14.18m and a 51.29m mark in the hammer throw… Won two events at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational, including the women’s shot put with her mark of 14.94m and the discus, where she scored Miami’s second-best mark in program history…Finished sixth with a mark of 48.37m in the women’s hammer throw at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
2019 Indoor: Registered the Canes best mark in the shot put at the UAB Blazer Invite with a mark of 15.19m for fifth place and placed fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 20.01m… Finished second in the shot put with a mark of 15.08m at the UAB Vulcan Invite… Finished first in the women’s weight throw with a mark of 19.23m at the Texas Tech Classic and fourth in the shot put with a mark of 15.11m… Recorded a personal best mark in the weight throw at 20.24m to finish second and finished fourth in the shot put at the Virginia Tech “Doc Hale” Elite Meet… Threw a mark of 14.22m in the shot put and boasted a personal best mark of 20.49m to finish third in the weight throw at the Tiger Paw Invite… Finished third in the women’s weight throw after a PR mark of 20.75m and finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 15.19m at the ACC Indoor Championships.
2018 Outdoor: Began the outdoor season winning the women’s discus with a throw of 51.52m at the Hurricane Invitational, finished sixth in the hammer throw with a 50.31m mark and finished fourth with a throw of 14.72m in the shot put… Finished third at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge in the discus with a mark of 55.07m, a personal-best, which moved her to the third-best mark in school history and threw a personal-best mark of 14.98m in the women’s shot put for a fourth-place finish… Continued to throw personal-best this time in the women’s hammer throw with a mark of 51.03m at the Florida Relays and finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 15.17m… Won the women’s shot put with a mark of 14.97m and placed sixth with a personal-best mark of 55.13m at the Hurricane Alumni Meet… Was third in the women’s hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 60.51m at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, ranking fourth in UM history and finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 50.47m… Finished third with a throw of 52.25m in the women’s discus, third with a mark of 15.43m in the shot put and sixth in the hammer with a mark of 58.75m at the Virginia Challenge… Threw a personal-best mark of 60.98m in the women’s hammer at the 2018 ACC Outdoor Championships, the fourth best mark in UM history… A personal-best mark of 16.22m earned her a bronze medal and moved her into third place on UM’s all-time list in the shot put at the 2018 ACC Outdoor Championships and placed seventh in discus with a 50.83m mark… Posted her second-best mark in the shot put at 15.74m at the East Preliminary… Finished ninth in the women’s discus with a throw of 52.82m, picking up one of the coveted 12 qualifying spots out of the NCAA East Preliminary… Finished her inaugural collegiate season 16thoverall in the women’s discus at the NCAA Championship with a mark of 49.99m.
2018 Indoor: Finished sixth in the women’s shot put at the UAB Blazer Invitational with a throw of 14.17m…Placed 12th in weight throw at UAB Blazer Invitational with a mark of 16.33m…Won the women’s weight throw at the Red Raider Open with a personal-best mark of 18.47m…Finished sixth in the shot put at the Red Raider Open with a mark of 13.56m…Finished third in the women’s open weight throw at the Power 5 Invitational with a mark of 17.78m…Was seventh in the women’s shot put at the Power 5 Invitational with a season-best mark of 14.73m…finished sixth in the women’s shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships with a personal-best mark of 15.10m that added three points to the Hurricanes’ team score.
Ajagbe is a Miami native that chose to continue her academic and athletic career with the hometown Hurricanes. A gifted thrower, Ajagbe is a three–time Florida Class 2A state champion in the discus and was the 2017 state champion in the shot put one year after finishing as the state runner-up in the event. A first team All-Dade selection, Ajagbe was the 2017 Florida Relays girls’ shot put and discus champion and was the 2016 FHSAA district and regional champion in both the shot put and discus and won the discus at the 2016 Louie Bing Classic and the 2016 FSU Relays. She has a personal-best mark of 46’10” (14.27 meters) in the shot put and 169’3″ (51.59 meters) in the discus. Ajagbe ranked 13th in the final all-class high school national ranking in the girl’s discus.
