Twitter: @ScottZavitzScott Zavitz is in his sixth year at the University of Miami and his first as an Associate Director of Marketing. He will serve as the men’s and women’s basketball marketing contact as well as other sports. Prior to this move to marketing, Zavitz was the communications contact for the women’s basketball and women’s tennis teams and also served as the secondary football communications contact.
He worked in the athletic media relations offices at UC Riverside in 2007 and at the University of Tampa from 2005-07. While at Tampa, he was responsible for coordinating all media relations activities for the back-to-back National Champion baseball team as well as the National Champion women’s volleyball team.He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a dual minor in business administration and finance.Zavitz is an active member of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) and NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics).
