2023 Outdoor: Hebron’s first outdoor season as a Hurricane was nothing short of incredible. Hebron earned her first collegiate win in her signature event, the 400m hurdles, with a time of 56.47 at the Hurricane Invitational (3/18), the impressive time from the true freshman ranked number one in the nation for the week, earning Hebron National Athlete of the Week by USTFCCCA and ACC Performer of the Week honors…earned a collegiate personal best of 52.82 in the 400m at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational (3/25) and placed fifth in the 200m with 23.76…earned first in the 400m hurdles at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational (4/7) with 56.28…earned third in the 400m hurdles with 52.85 against some of the nation’s best competition at the 63rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays (4/15)…registered a collegiate best of 23.56 in the 200m at the UNF East Coast Relays (4/29)…Hebron created magic on the track at her first outdoor ACC Conference Championships, placing first with 56.17 in the 400m hurdle final just running a personal best time of 56.08 in the 400m hurdles prelims, a time that also cracked into the 400m hurdle program top-five list, a list that has not moved in the past 16 years ….earned the bronze medal as the anchor of the 4×100 relay team with 44.52, and to cap off her first ACC Conference Championship, anchored the 4×400 relay team to a gold medal and ACC meet record of 3:28.29, a time that sits at third all-time in the Miami program record books…appeared in sixth place in the first round of the NCAA East Preliminary Round, clocking in at 57.77 in the 400m hurdles…ran a slightly better time of 57.46 to punch her ticket to her first NCAA National Championships…earned second-team All-American in the 400m hurdles at her first NCAA National Championships (6/7) with 57.50, finishing 16th…earned another second-team All-American honors with the 4×400 relay team, placing 10th with 3:29.94 to cap off her incredible first collegiate season as a Hurricane…Hebron’s success carried into the postseason as she represented Miami at the USATF U20 Championships, earning the gold medal with 56.22 in the 400m hurdles…Hebron finished her outdoor season in spectacular fashion at the PanAm U20 Championships, winning the gold medal for Team USA with 56.90 and being ranked the number one U20 400m hurdler in the world.

2022 Indoor: Sanaa Hebron started strong in her first appearance as a Hurricane at the Louisville Cardinal Classic (1/13)…Hebron competed and placed fifth in the 200m with 24.13, second in the 400m with 53.87, and participated as the anchor with the 4×400 relay team, placing second with 3:33.51…placed third with the 4×400 team with 3:35.84 at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open (1/20) and fourth in the 400m with 54.12…placed third once more with the 4×400 with 3:34.10 at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic (2/3)…solidified her first collegiate win with the 4×400 team in a historic finish at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships, finishing with a time of 3:32.56, a time that stands at third in the programs indoor top-five record book…also placed fourth and scored for the Hurricanes at the conference championships in the 400m with 53.14.

Personal: Daughter to Kimberley Bryant and Vaughn Hebron…has four siblings in Vaughn, Saloni, Savion, and Savaughn. In her free time, Sanaa enjoys writing, reading, watching anime, and spending time with friends and family. Sanaa’s father, Vaughn, is a retired NFL player and two-time Super Bowl champion…currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
