2017-18 On November 12th, the Hurricanes 3V Varsity 8 rowing team placed 21st with a time of 14:49.4 in their competition at Rivanna Romp, hosted by University of Virginia. Throughout March 17 and March 18th, the Hurricanes competed in three sessions of rowing in Oak Ridge, Tennessee as Louisville hosted the competition. On Saturday morning the second Miami Varsity 4 finished fourth with a time of 7:13.691. On Saturday afternoon, the second Miami Varsity 4 finished fourth with a time of 7:38.792. In the Sunday morning sessions, the second Miami Varsity 4 finished fifth with a time of 7:14.126. On March 31st, in Sarasota, Florida, the Canes faced off against UCF and Wisconsin following a scrimmage the day before. The first Varsity 4 finished second behind Wisconsin with a time of 8:34.5. On April 7th, the Hurricanes competed in the Sunshine State Invitational. Miami’s First Varsity 4 closed out its weekend finishing fifth with a time of 7:27.05. On April 28th, the Canes traveled to Austin, Texas to compete in the Longhorn Invitational. Miami had five boats competing in several heats prior to their final race of the competition. The Second Varsity Four closed out its day with a third-place finish in the B final with a time of 8:19.964. On May 13th, the Canes traveled to Clemson, S.C. to compete in the ACC Championships. The Second Varsity Four was the second UM boat to finish first in its final race of the championships, winning its Petite Final with a time of 7:32.617 and finishing ahead of boats from Boston College and North Carolina. The 2V4+ was fourth in Heat 2 of its event with a time of 7:31.327, earning a spot in the Petite Final.

2015-16: Placed fifth in the Collegiate Championship 4+ at the Head of the Indian Creek with a time of 18:14.94 … Placed third in the Collegiate Championship 8+ at the Head of the Indian Creek with a time of 17:10.03 … Placed 19th with a time of 20:18.360 in the Club 4+ event at the Head of the Charles … Finished 16th in the Women’s Championship 8+ race at the Head of the Hooch with a time of 17:37 … Member of the 2V8+ that posted times of 7:11.90 and 7:04.06 at the Governor’s Cup … Placed sixth in the Women’s Third Varsity Eight Final at the Knecht Cup with a time of 7:27.88 … Had a time of 8:27.07 in the Women’s Varsity Four heats at the Knecht Cup … Member of the 1V4+ that posted a time of 7:54.96 against UCF … Member of the 2V4+ that was second in the Second Varsity Four Petite Final at the ACC Championship with a time of 7:57.551
2014-15: Coxed her 4+ boat to a first place finish at the Head of the Indian Creek with a time of 17:04 … Coxed her 4+ boat Championship to a 12th place finish at the Head of the Charles posting a time of 19:22 … Coxed the “A” boat that finished eighth with a time of 16:36.1 in the Open 8+ at the 2014 Head of the Hooch … Competed in spring opening scrimmage against UConn … Coxed the 3V8+ that posted a time of 7:15.3 while racing against UCF at the Governor’s Cup … Coxed the 1V4+ that posted a time of 7:58.8 while racing against Columbia and UCF at the Governor’s Cup … Coxed the Novice 8+ that finished third with a time of 7:26.43 in the Women’s Collegiate Novice Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic … Won the 2V8+ third level final at Knecht Cup, posting a time of 7:11.51 … Helped Canes finish third in the 2V8+ Petite Final at the 2015 ACC Championship with a time of 7:06.1
Prior to Miami: Rotkovitz has had a lot of success as a member of the South Jersey Rowing Club, competing as a coxswain in the men’s division. Her boat finished in the men’s lightweight 4+ at the 2013 Mid-Atlantics, placed seventh in the men’s lightweight 4+ at the 2013 Youth Nationals and won the men’s heavyweight 4+ at the 2014 Braxton Memorial Regatta.
