Jim McIver is in his second year as the General Manager for Hurricane Sports Properties within the University of Miami Athletics Department.Prior to his arrival in Coral Gables, McIver served as the vice president of business development for Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), where he represented the company’s portfolio of properties in sports, entertainment and venues.
Prior to AEG, he was the vice president of business development for Global Partnerships IMG, where he negotiated more than $125 million in revenue through sponsorships, endorsements, consulting and television activities. McIver played an integral role in the growth of its West Coast presence and managed the Los Angeles office.
A graduate of Azusa Pacific University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and business.
