Served as coxswain for both the Varsity Four and Junior Varsity Eight boats for the Hurricanes … Called the Varsity Four “A” boat to a win over Dowling and Rochester, crossing the finish line at 7:39.84 … Coxed the JV8+ boat to a sixth place finish (17:52.371) at the Head of the Oklahoma Regatta in the season-opener … Called the V4+ “B” boat to a third place time of 15:14.4 in a tri-race with Nova Southeastern and Barry … Part of the fifth-place team in the Varsity Four that executed a time of 8:20.24 at the ACC Championships … Coxed the Varsity 4+ crew to a fifth place time of 8:14.86 at the Aramark Sprints South/Central Regional Championships … Turned in a sixth place finish in the “C” finals of the South/Central Championships, once again serving as coxswain of the Varsity Four crew.

Sophomore (2007-08)
Started as coxswain for the Novice Eight and Open Four … Coxed N8 team to a fourth place finish during the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships in Clemson, South Carolina … N8 rowed a time of 7:36.1 in the event … Came back against Jacksonville with a winning time of 6:21.7 to beat the Dolphins … Coxed the Open Four boat to a third place time of 8:19.20 in the final event of the year at the Aramark Central/South Sprints in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
