Sophomore (2022-2023): Opened individual action with a win in the 100-yard butterfly against FIU with a time of 56:01 (Oct. 1) … Time of 2:13:43 in 200-yard breaststroke at SMU Classic stands as Brazilian record for short course yards and placed Giulia fifth on Miami’s all-time list…. Served as member of four relay teams, including a win in the 200-yard medley with a time of 1:38:34… Earned three wins versus Florida State, including an individual win in the 50-yard freestyle in 23.29… During dual meet versus Army and Northwestern, won both 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard butterfly, in 23:53 and 24:89, respectively… Posted new personal best in 200-yard breaststroke during the preliminary round of the 2022 ACC Championships, also setting the national record for her home country of Brazil in 2:12:76.

True Freshman (2021-22): Served as one of Miami’s top point-getters in first season at The U, delivering impressive freshman campaign…Posted three times that ranked in Miami’s ‘Top 10’ performers list in school history in 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.15, fourth), 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.83, seventh) and 100-yard butterfly (54.37, eighth)…Finished fifth in ‘A’ final of 100-yard butterfly (54.54) and third in ‘A’ final of 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.91) at SMU Classic (Oct. 8-9)…Turned in impressive showing at Miami Invite (Nov. 18-20), winning 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.83) and taking second in 100-yard butterfly (54.37) while serving on multiple winning relays…Won both 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.91) and 100-yard butterfly (57.13) in dual meet at FGCU (Jan. 12)…Captured third place in 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.69) in dual meet with Florida State (Jan. 21)…Represented Miami at ACC Championships in Atlanta (Feb. 15-18), competing in 100-yard butterfly (54.54) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.15), where she posted an NCAA ‘B’ cut time in ‘C’ final of event.

Before Miami: Competed for Minas Tênis Clube, specializing in fly, breast, and IM…Picked up a number of best times (200 breast, 200 fly, and 200 IM) 2019 Troféu Julio De Lamare (Brazilian Summer Junior Championships), contributing to Minas Tênis Clube’s team title…At 2020 Campeonato Metropolitano de Natação in March, she updated her personal-best times in LCM 100 fly (1:02.63) and LCM 200 fly (2:23.30).
