Rowed in bow and seven seat for the Hurricanes in her first year of competition at the University of Miami … Saw most of her time in the Novice Eight … Rowed seven seat for the N8 crew that placed fourth in their season-opener in Charlottesville, Virginia during the Rivanna Romp … Had a time of 16:48.95 in that race … Rowed two seat at ACC Championships with N8 team that finished fourth with a time of 7:36.1 … Had her first turn at bow seat for the Hurricanes against Jacksonville University … Helped Novice Eight crew to a win over the Dolphins with a boat-best time of 6:21.7 … Also rowed bow in Open Four crew at Aramark Central/South Sprints event in Oak Ridge, Tennessee … `Canes finished with a time of 8:19.20 to place third.

First impression of the UM campus was that it’s beautiful and laid back … Favorite athlete is Kristine Lilly because she’s a strong worker with a positive attitude … Always puts her right sock on first before each race … Taught cello lessons over the summer.
