Alecia Pynn is in her second year providing administrative support for the University of Miami men’s basketball office. She assists with recruiting operations among other assigned duties for the Hurricanes.
A native of Sarasota, Fla., Pynn graduated from Elon College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications.
She previously worked for the University of Florida, serving as the Recruiting Operations/Former Player Relations Director for the football program from 2003-07. Additionally, Pynn worked as a football sports information director for the Gators from 2002-03.
Pynn is the founder and executive director of the Florida Rivals Football Foundation – an organization that partners with over 30 current and former football alumni from the University of Miami, University of Florida and Florida State University to develop resources and opportunities for youth and family programs.
