Cross Country Releases 2026 Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – On Monday, the University of Miami cross country team and Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Amy Deem announced the full 2026 schedule.

The Hurricanes will kick off competition on Friday, September 4 at the Florida Intercollegiate Cross Country Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla. The first race is set to start at 6:30 p.m.

Two weeks later, Miami will travel to Tallahassee, Fla. for the FSU Pre-Regional on September 18 with the first race beginning at 7:40 a.m.

The month of October will begin with the Joe Piane – Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind. The first race on October 2 will begin at 10 a.m.

On October 16 starting at 4:30 p.m., the Hurricanes run in the Joe Handelman ’52 Fall Classic in Princeton, N.J. to wrap the regular season.

The ACC Cross Country Championship will take place on October 30, hosted by Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. The first race is at 9 a.m.

Following the conclusion of the ACC Championship, the NCAA South Regional will take place in Tallahassee on November 13. Should the Hurricanes qualify, the NCAA Championship will take place on November 21 at 9 a.m. in Terre Haute, Ind.
