Hurricanes Notch Fourth Straight Win

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team (11-8, 3-5 ACC) extended its streak after a 4-0 sweep over the Delaware Fighting Blue Hens (12-4) on Wednesday afternoon.

The Hurricanes secured the doubles point with wins on court one and two. Antonio Prat and Rafael Segado took the 6-3 win over Tobey Lock and Luke Tollenaar on two, while Jakub Kroslak and Mehdi Sadaoui notched it at the top court with a 6-3 win over Euan Mackenzie and James Sclater.

Miami went into singles with the lead and a strong presence. Jules Garot earned the 6-0, 6-3 win on court six over Sclater, while Kroslak extended the lead with a 6-2, 6-0 win against Mackenzie.

Sadaoui then clinched the Miami win after a 6-2, 6-1 win over Tollenaar. The Hurricanes remain home to face Virginia Tech on Friday.
