Massey Sets the Pace Again for Miami

ATLANTA – For the second straight day, Ashlyn Massey was among Miami’s top performers at the 2026 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center.

Massey posted a time of 1:56.67 during the 200-yard butterfly preliminaries to earn a spot in the ‘B’ final of the event, where she finished third (1:55.83).

In addition to Massey, veteran Savannah Barr earned a spot in the ‘C’ final in the same event after touching the wall in 1:59.26 in prelims. Barr was fifth in her heat in a time of 1:59.04.

One of Miami’s top point-scorers this season, Massey qualified for a final for the second straight night; she was sixth in the ‘B’ final of the 100-yard butterfly Thursday.

Carly Lahy also competed in the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.58), while Leah Treglia narrowly missed out on the finals of the 100-yard backstroke (53:07). Zofia Sobzcak competed in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:04.87 during the morning round on the Georgia Tech campus.

Miami’s 400-yard medley relay entry – comprised of Treglia, Sophie Lenze, Massey and Ines Mahmoudi – finished in a time of 3:36.49.

The Hurricanes conclude their run at the ACC Championships on Saturday, the final day of competition for the annual conference meet.
