Hurricanes Earn Third Preseason Top-25 Ranking
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami baseball program earned its third preseason top-25 ranking as the Hurricanes prepare for the 2026 season.
Miami was ranked No. 25 in the preseason poll released Tuesday by Baseball America. The Hurricanes have also been ranked No. 22 by D1Baseball and No. 24 by Perfect Game.
The Hurricanes are coming off a 35-27 season in 2025, including a 15-14 record in conference play and reached the NCAA Super Regionals for the first time since 2016.
Miami returns key contributors from last season’s roster, including infielders Daniel Cuvet and Jake Ogden, along with right-handed pitcher AJ Ciscar.
The Hurricanes will open the 2026 season at home on Feb. 13, hosting Lehigh at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
