Miami to Open Indoor Season at Jimmy Carnes Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Miami is set to begin the 2026 indoor season Friday as it travels to compete in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational at the Alachua County Sports Complex.

The meet begins at 9:30 a.m. with the men’s high jump while action gets underway on the track at 11 a.m. with the women’s 1000m.

The Hurricanes return eight of its 10 NCAA Championship competitors from a year ago and 19 that qualified for the NCAA East Prelims.
