Olivencia Selected to Lead Team International at 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s golf head coach Janice Olivencia has been selected as the co-head coach for Team International at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.
Coach Olivencia will share the co-head coach title with Tennessee’s Brennan Webb from Canada, and they will be supported by England’s Jake Amos, Canada’s Veronique Drouin-Luttrell, England’s Matt Walton and Mexico’s Yoshio Yamamoto as assistant coaches for Team International.
The Arnold Palmer Cup will be played in July of 2026 at Tralee Golf Links in Kerry, Ireland. The tournament will mark the 30th edition of the annual event which was founded in 1997.
The Arnold Palmer Cup was co-founded by Arnold Palmer and the Golf Coaches Association of America and features the top U.S. men’s and women’s collegiate golfers competing side-by-side against a team of international players. In 2025, the International team won for the first time since 2022, but the United States holds a 17-13-1 all-time series advantage.
Coach Olivencia made history in the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup, being named the first Puerto Rican (male or female, coach or player) to be selected for the Arnold Palmer Cup. Olivencia led her team to victory last summer and will now return to the Cup for the second consecutive year.
