Hurricanes Host Orange and Green World Series at Mark Light Field
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes baseball team will host their annual Orange and Green World Series this week at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.
The Fall Classic will once again feature four days of intrasquad action, pitting the Hurricanes against one another in a competitive tune-up to close out the fall baseball season.
Orange and Green World Series Schedule
- Tuesday (10/28): Game 1 – 6.5 innings, 9:45 a.m.
- Thursday (10/30): Game 2 – 7 innings, 9:30 a.m.
- Friday (10/31): Game 3 – 8 innings, 9:30 a.m.
- Saturday (11/1): Game 4 – 6 innings, 11 a.m.
The Orange and Green World Series will follow the same running score format as in previous years. Teams will earn one point for each inning in which they outscore their opponent.
After the 27.5-inning competition, the team with the most innings won will be crowned the champion. If both sides are tied after four games, the team with the most total runs will take home the title.
Admission to all games is free.
