Allan Soto Donates $1.35m to Miami Athletics
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami Athletics announced Friday that Allan Soto (MBA ’25) has made a $1.35 million donation.
Soto’s generous gift includes $1m allotted to the Victory Fund and $325,000 to the Hurricane Club.
Soto is a lifelong Hurricanes fan and has been a donor since 2023, primarily supporting Name, Image & Likeness initiatives through Canes Connection, the Official NIL Collective of Miami Athletics.
“As a proud University of Miami alumnus and with my family deeply connected to the U’s community, it’s an honor to give back,” Soto said. “This commitment, especially to athletics, reflects our gratitude and the amazing experiences the U has given us.”
Miami’s newly launched Victory Fund is a game-changer for the U, providing the resources necessary to recruit and retain an elite roster of student-athletes across all major sports. Support for the Victory Fund continues to ensure the U remains a powerhouse and the top destination for the brightest talent in college athletics.
As the landscape continues to evolve and now includes a revenue-sharing program for student-athletes, the Victory Fund stands as Miami’s strategic investment in the future. It positions the athletic department to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive environment. This fund will help fuel the growth and success of UM programs and maintain the U at the forefront of college sports, by offering student-athletes the support and incentives they need to thrive—both in the classroom and on the field.
