
Hurricanes Travel to Wake Forest for ACC Championships
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The University of Miami track and field team begins their postseason journey Thursday-Saturday at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Kentner Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest.
The three-day meet begins Thursday at 11 a.m. with the men’s javelin while running events begin at 7 p.m. with the women’s 400m hurdles. Friday’s action gets underway at 11 a.m. with the final five events of the decathlon with the women’s 100m hurdles set to begin at 6 p.m.
The women’s javelin kicks off competition on Saturday at 11 a.m. while the women’s 4x100m relay begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Hurricanes enjoyed a successful regular season that saw the men’s and women’s teams post 21 top-five marks and three school records in the women’s 3000m steeplechase, men’s javelin and men’s 4x100m relay.
