Miami Adds Saud Alhogbani For 2025-26

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami men’s tennis head coach Alex Santos announced the addition of Wake Forest transfer Saud Alhogbani.

A Riyadh, Saudia Arabia native, the incoming junior spent two seasons with the Demon Deacons and compiled a 10-1 singles record and 7-4 doubles record.

Said Santos, “From the very beginning, Saud impressed us with his commitment to his tennis and his values as a human being. The University of Miami and this team are his priority and we are looking forward to building our future with him.”

Prior to college, Alhogbani was the youngest player to be ranked No. 1 in Saudi Arabia at only 14 years old, while also being named Athlete of the Year in the Middle East. He also ranked at the top in the U.S. for players under the age 8-14.

“I chose the University of Miami because of its strong academics, the welcoming campus community, and the incredible culture within the tennis program,” said Alhogbani. “I’m excited to be part of a university that values excellence both on and off the court.”

Alhogbani is the second addition for the 2025-26 season and will join the Hurricanes after coming off their first berth back to the NCAA tournament since 2022 and their 30th appearance in program history.
