Rowing Closes Out Big Ten Invitational

SARASOTA, Fla. – The University of Miami Rowing team had a balanced showing on the final day of the Big Ten Invitational.

The second varsity eight and the fourth varsity eight highlighted the day for the Hurricanes, claiming fourth-place finishes in their respective races. 

Competing in the grand finals, the first varsity eight took fifth-place with a time of 6:45.171. 

Miami’s first varsity four secured a fourth-place finish, while the second varsity four took fifth-place. 

Miami’s third varsity eight wrapped up the event, crossing the line in sixth-place finish.

The Canes will return to action on Friday, April 25, when they will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, to compete at the Lake Wheeler Invitational.
