Miami Lands 12 on ACC Soccer All-Academic Team
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami soccer program had 12 student-athletes receive ACC All-Academic honors for their exceptional work in the classroom and on the field this past fall, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
The 12 honorees matched the second-highest total for the Hurricanes in program history.
Student-athletes must have earned a 3.0 GPA or higher for the fall semester, in addition to maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout their college career to earn All-Academic honors. Additionally, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of matches this past season in order to garner the prestigious award.
Julia Edwards, Moira Flynn, Kyla Gallagher, Tori Grambo, Caroline Hood, Grace Hurren, Giovana Canali Gisselle Kozarski, Maddie Landers, Emilie McCartney, JJ Ndaw, and Crosby Nicholson were the 11 members of the Miami soccer team that earned the distinction.
The Hurricanes are coming off their first season under Head Coach Ken Masuhr, and they are set to compete in five matches this spring, as they continue to prepare for the 2025 fall campaign.
