Yaroshuk-Tews Unveils 2025 Schedule
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head women’s tennis head coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews announced her team’s schedule for the upcoming spring season on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes will play at least 19 dual matches during the regular season, including 10 on their home court at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center to begin the slate.
Miami opens spring action Jan. 10-12 at home with the Miami Spring Invite. The strong field features three fellow premier programs in NC State, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt.
The first dual match will take place north of Miami in Boca Raton when they face FAU before hosting cross-town foe FIU on Jan. 18.
Miami then takes off for ITA Kick-Off Weekend Jan. 25-26 in Gainesville, Fla. They will play LSU the first day, with FIU and host Florida squaring off afterwards. The losers meet the next morning, while the victors meet in the afternoon for a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.
With pending qualification, Miami would head to Northwestern and Illinois’ campus for the prestigious ITA National Team Indoor Championship, set for Feb. 7-10.
The Hurricanes will take on Kennesaw State on Feb. 12 before starting ACC play at Syracuse on Feb. 28 in Syracuse, N.Y., and at Boston College on March 2 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Miami will then take a week off before playing four matches in eight days. First they will face Penn on March 12 and go on to host their first ACC weekend as Notre Dame and Louisville come to the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on March 14 and 16, respectively. The Hurricanes will then play their last non-conference game against Stony Brook on March 17 before traveling to Tallahassee, Fla., to play Florida State on March 19 to cap off a busy week.
Then Miami will have a lone weekend on the road when they fly to Dallas, Texas, to take on new conference foe SMU on March 23.
The Hurricanes will host two more new conference opponents, Stanford and Cal, on March 28 and 30, respectively. The following week, they will have their last weekend at home when they host Wake Forest on April 4 and NC State on April 6.
Miami concludes its regular season slate the following weekend in North Carolina. They will battle with UNC on April 11 in Chapel Hill, N.C., before wrapping up on April 13 against Duke in Durham, N.C.
Yaroshuk-Tews’ team then visits North Carolina once again, with the ACC Championship set for April 15-20 in Cary, N.C. They will await their NCAA fate the following weekend.
