Deem Welcomes 32 Newcomers to the 2024-25 Track and Field Roster
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Amy Deem announced the addition of 32 members to the program’s 2024-25 roster on Tuesday.
The 2024 signing class, composed of 25 freshmen and 7 transfers, gives the Hurricanes a new look for the upcoming season.
“I’m very excited to welcome our new group of Hurricanes to Coral Gables. There’s a great mix of new athletes that are looking to compete at this level along with a solid group of transfers that can serve as an example during the seasonwith their past experiences. I, along with the rest of the track and field staff, are looking forward to a great season,” Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Amy Deem said.
The distance squad welcomes 16 athletes, the jumps team adds five female athletes, sprints addfour male athletes while the female sprints group reloads with five freshmen, and the throws group adds both one male and female to the roster.
