Hurricanes Ready for Final Regular Season Race in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. – The University of Miami cross country team will compete in their final regular season race Saturday afternoon at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals in Madison, Wis.

The Hurricanes will take part in Saturday’s “B” races. The women’s 6K is scheduled for 12:40 p.m. eastern time with the men’s 8K following at 1:20 p.m.

For those wanting to keep track of the race, PrimeTime Timing will be the Pre-National’s official timekeeper; results can be found on their website HERE.

Two weeks ago at the Paul Short Run in Pennsylvania, Cormac O’Brien cracked into the school’s 8K top ten record book. The senior distance runner posted a time of 25:03.05, good for a new personal best and the seventh-fastest time in school history.

This will be the final regular season meet of Miami’s 2024 cross country campaign, as the ACC Cross Country Championships are slated for November 1 in Raleigh, N.C.
