Byrne in First Place on Day Two of NCAA Regionals
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – On Tuesday, Miami sophomore Sara Byrne competed in the second round of the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens Regional.
After Byrne’s impressive start in round one, she moved up the leaderboard to first place on Tuesday afternoon.
The Cork, Ireland, native shot an 18-hole score of 70 (-2) in round two at the par-72, 6,315-yard PGA National Resort.
In the tournament, Byrne has totaled a 36-hole score of 140 (-4).
Byrne earned herself another round of under-par, marking her 17th round of par-or-better this season.
The final round of the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens Regional begins tomorrow morning at the PGA National Resort.
