The Miami Hurricanes women’s golf team returns to action Sunday at the Moon Golf Invitational.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes women’s golf team returns to action Sunday at the Moon Golf Invitational.

Hosted by Louisville, the three-day event will take place at Suntree Country Club Classic Course in Melbourne, Fla. The state-of-the-art course is a par-72 that spans 6,417 yards.

This is familiar territory for the Canes after participating in the same event last year. Nataliya Guseva was UM’s top finisher, taking 11th with a three-round score of 214 (-2).

Miami is paired with No. 21 LSU and 15th-ranked Baylor for the first round. The teams are scheduled to tee off at 10:10 am (ET) on Sunday.

The Hurricanes’ lineup includes Sara Byrne, Anna Backman, Kristyna Frydlova, Guseva, and Franziska Slipper.

The field includes nine ranked teams – #9 Alabama, #6 Arkansas, #17 Auburn, #15 Baylor, #19 Duke, #7 Florida, #21 LSU, #3 South Carolina and #8 Virginia.
