Hurricane Club Announces New Membership Structure
The Hurricane Club is excited to announce a new membership structure focused on enhancing the member experience and impact on our 400+ Hurricane student-athletes. The new structure also reflects adjustments due to the passage of the new federal tax bill, which removed the tax-deductibility of seating donations.
Memberships will consist of two types of support to the Hurricane Club: Season Tickets and—new for 2018— Student Impact Donations. While both Season Tickets and Student Impact Donations activate your Hurricane Club Member status, Student Impact Donations elevate your member experience and maximize support provided to UM student-athletes.

SEASON TICKETS: By purchasing non tax-deductible season tickets for football and men’s basketball, you are eligible to receive core Hurricane Club member benefits:
- Invitations to member-only events, including Football Tailgate Parties
- Exclusive online Adidas discounts and ShopMiamiHurricanes.com discounts
- Annual Canes Care Package & Hurricane Sports Monthly E-Newsletter
- Priority for football away games & football post-season play
- Priority for men’s basketball ACC and NCAA Tournament play
STUDENT IMPACT DONATIONS: By giving a tax-deductible Student Impact Donation not tied to season tickets, you are making a philanthropic annual fund gift. Student Impact Donations are crucial to providing the very best experience for our student-athletes, including scholarship support, leadership development, nutrition programs, and academic resources.

For our members interested in supporting Miami Athletics at the highest level, we offer the GOLDEN CANE SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP. Contributors in the Golden Cane Society donate leadership annual gifts that provide our 400+ Hurricane student-athletes the chance to play the sport they love at an institution that epitomizes being a champion.
