CORAL GABLES, FLA. – The University of Miami men’s tennis doubleheader versus Bethune-Cookman has been canceled due to rainy conditions at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

In the first match, the Canes won the doubles point over the Wildcats then play was suspended due to rain. The match will be rescheduled at a later date. 

Freshman Christian Langmo and sophomore Bernard Tefel rolled in their doubles match against Alvaro Barrera and Greg Almeida winning, 8-3. Then senior Wilfredo Gonzalez and Kevin Bondar won their match against Walid Gtari and Kevin Deligny, 8-5. Henrique Tsukamoto and Alexander Fahnehjelm were up 7-6 in their match against Gilbert Rotich and Diego Garavito when it was called. 

The Hurricanes will return to action at home when Miami hosts George Washington on Friday, March 6 at 2 p.m. and then will kick-off ACC play against Georgia Tech on Sunday, March 8 at 12 p.m. Admission to all regular-season matches at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center is free.
