2018 Advocare Cowboys Classic Awaits Miami

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami will take part in the 2018 AdvoCareCowboys Classic against Louisiana State University inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, September 1, 2018.

The 10th annual AdvoCare Cowboys Classic will be the 13th meeting between these two schools, and the first regular season match-up since the 1988 season.

Both Miami and LSU hold strong college backgrounds as the two schools have combined to win eight national championships.

The game will mark the 10th contest in the AdvoCare Cowboys Classic series. Each matchup has featured nationally ranked teams with Brigham Young University upsetting the University of Oklahoma 14-13 in inaugural game in 2009, Texas Christian University knocking off Oregon State 30-21 in 2010, LSU defeating Oregon 40-27 in 2011, Alabama downing Michigan 41-14 in 2012, LSU beating TCU 37-27 victory in 2013 and Florida State downing Oklahoma State 37-31 in 2014.
