Miami Track & Field History
The University of Miami track and field program has soared to unprecedented levels of success under director of track and field/cross country Amy Deem. Prior to her being named head coach in 1990, the Hurricanes had never had an athlete record an NCAA qualifying mark. Since then, Deem has guided student-athletes to a combined 200 All-America honors and 16 national championships.
