RALEIGH, N.C. — Friday’s series opener between the University of Miami Hurricanes and No. 25 NC State Wolfpack was suspended until Saturday due to inclement weather.
Play will resume Saturday following the conclusion of the originally scheduled game two at 1 p.m. The Hurricanes and Wolfpack will resume with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning, with the score tied up 1-1.
Junior lefthander Chris Diaz delivered 5.1 strong inning before play was halted for a rain delay. After an 80-minute delay, the umpiring crew and two head coaches decided to resume play Saturday.
