After a record-setting year in 2013 with over 6,900 members, the Hurricane Club has begun the 2014 renewal process. The Hurricane Club is looking to continue its success in 2014, setting ambitious goals including increasing membership to over 7,500 members, exceeding $9.8 million in revenue, and achieving 20-percent member participation rate in the new Canes Plus Program.
The Canes Plus Program is a way for Hurricane Club members to show their commitment to the Hurricanes while simultaneously increasing their member benefits. By participating in the Canes Plus Program, you can increase your ticket priority for football away games, bowl games and men’s basketball postseason events.
Most importantly, you will make a huge impact on the lives of our student-athletes when you increase your gift. If every member who is within $100 of the next giving level were to participate in Canes Plus, these donations would generate close to $1 million in revenue to Miami Athletics.
There are two ways to participate:
- If you already donate at the Sebastian, Orange or Green giving levels, you can make a gift at your respective Plus level to boost your priority and maximize your impact to Hurricane Athletics.
- If you already give at one of the Plus levels, you can increase your gift to the next level. This will increase your priority and maximize your impact to Hurricane Athletics.

If you are ready show your commitment to #BuildingChampions you can renew your 2014 membership via the following options:
- Online: Visit www.uhurricaneclub.com to log in and renew your gift.
- By Mail: Hurricane Club members received 2014 Renewal Forms on January 1. Please use the 2014 Membership Statement form enclosed in your packet to participate in the Canes Plus Program by giving the highlighted amount.
- Over the phone: Please call the Hurricane Club main office at 305-284-6699 to increase your gift.
