CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Canes’ Corner is a Q&A series looking at the 2013 Miami volleyball team.

Each day leading up to the beginning of volleyball season on Aug. 30, a new Canes’ Corner will be released giving @CanesVB fans a chance to get to know their favorite playerss.

I committed to Miami over other schools because: I wanted to go to a school that had a great business school as well as a good volleyball program.

If I had to describe the team in one word it would be: Committed

Coral Gables is different from my hometown because: Coral Gables is more tropical compared to my suburban town in New Jersey

The biggest adjustment from high school to college has been: being more responsible and having good time management.  Keeping up with school and practice. 

When I committed to the University of Miami, I felt: Excited

My favorite moment in my volleyball career was: Playing FSU at home on ESPN and winning!
