Junior offensive lineman Orlando Franklin has been selected as the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, November 29. Franklin, who had started the first 11 games of the season at left guard, was switched to the left tackle spot against South Florida due to an illness to Jason Fox. He responded by helping the team rush for 240 yards, the second highest total on the season. In the Hurricanes 31-10 victory, he graded out at 95 percent and had four pancake blocks while holding two-time all-american defensive end George Selvie to just three assisted tackles. |
