Miami Cancels Rowing Scrimmage This Weekend

Coral Gables, Fla. – University of Miami head rowing coach Andrew Carter has announced that Saturday’s scrimmage against Nova Southeastern, Barry and Florida Tech has been cancelled due to travel discrepancies and illness involving the other teams.
The race was scheduled to be held Saturday, Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. on the Indian Creek Waterway in North Miami Beach, Fla.
At this time, the scrimmage is not set to be rescheduled.
Miami holds its first official race on Nov. 7-8 when they travel to the Head of the Hooch Regatta hosted by the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in Chattanooga, Tenn.
