CORAL GABLES, Fla. – – The University of Miami baseball team has announced that the Hurricanes have added a game with the Stetson Hatters to its 2007 baseball schedule. The Hurricanes will host the Hatters Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m.

Miami lost a game earlier in the season when its series with Mercer was shortened to two games due to inclement weather.

Stetson (27-9, 10-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) and Miami (21-14, 7-8 ACC) are both in pursuit of postseason bids. The schools have faced each other 148 times since 1947. Miami last played Stetson in 2001 when the Hurricanes defeated the Hatters 16-8 in an NCAA Regional.

The Feb. 4th Mercer game ticket will be accepted for admittance into the Stetson game. If fans no longer have game tickets, a postcard will be mailed from the Hurricane Ticket Office that can be used for admittance into the game. Please call 305-284-CANES for more information.
