CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami returns to ACC play this weekend in a pair of matches versus ranked opponents as the No. 17 Hurricanes hit the road to take on No. 15 Clemson Saturday at 1 p.m. and No. 22 Georgia Tech Sunday at 1 p.m.

Riding a four-match win-streak, the Hurricanes are 6-1 on the year with three wins over ranked opponents. Miami upset then No. 11 Florida State 7-0 Jan. 30 in Coral Gables in their lone ACC match this season.

The Hurricanes’ roster includes two nationally ranked singles players in junior Luigi D’Agord, who holds the nation’s No. 8 ranking, and junior Josh Cohen, who is ranked No. 18.

Senior Tim Krebs remains undefeated in dual play with a perfect 7-0 record and has won each of his last nine contests dating back to preseason play.

UM’s most successful doubles tandem has been Cohen and senior Eric Hechtman, who are 6-0 in dual play this spring. As a team, Cohen and Hechtman are 11-1 on the year.

Miami heads to Clemson Saturday to face a tough CU team, who, coming off an upset win over No. 13 LSU last weekend, are ranked No. 15 at 12-2 overall this season.

Clemson’s lineup boasts one of the nation’s top singles players in Clement Rix, who is ranked No. 100.

Following the Clemson match, UM travels to Atlanta Sunday to take on No. 22 Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are undefeated at 5-0 this spring.

Georgia Tech has the nation’s No. 42 doubles team in Marko Rajevac and David North.
