Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Tiffany Prats (Williston, Fla.) recorded a second round score of 79 on Monday and is tied for 15th heading into tomorrow’s final round of the Pinehurst Challenge in Pinehurst, N.C.
Prats’ two-round total of 155 is eight strokes back of Washington State’s Anastasia Kostina who shot a 72 on Monday, the low round of the day, giving her two-day score of 147.
As a team the Hurricanes shot 319 on Monday and are in ninth-place heading into the final day with a score of 637. Maryland leads the team competition with a two-day total of 612 (302-310).
