CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami’s Josh Cohen was selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Performer of the Week after posting a combined 4-0 record in singles and doubles action over the weekend.

Cohen helped clinch a 4-3 win over 46th-ranked NC State on Friday. The sophomore from Weston, Fla. posted a 6-2, 6-4 straight set victory over the Wolfpack’s Nick Cavaday. In doubles action, Cohen and teammate Eric Hechtman defeated NC State’s Val Banada and Andre Iriarte, 8-5.

In Sunday’s contest against Duke in Coral Gables, Cohen upset third-ranked Ludovic Walter with a 7-6, 6-4 win at the number one singles flight and paired with Hechtman to down Jonathan Stokke and Charles Brezac, 9-8 at the No. 2 doubles spot.

Cohen and the Hurricanes are back in action on Friday as they conclude their regular season schedule against Florida State in Tallahassee.
