MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – Rollins College sophomore Charlotte Campbell fired a final round 71 to win the Ryder Florida Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship and lead the Tars to the team championship for the first time since 1973.
Campbell (78-74-71-223) won by one stroke over Florida Atlantic’s Natalia Navaro who shot 73 on Sunday to finish with a three-day score of 224. Miami’s Camilla Hilland took third (79-71-76-226).
Rollins College, the defending NCAA Division II National Champions, won the team championship with a score of 916, seven strokes ahead of South Florida (923). Host Miami finished third (924).
